My Story
My exciting adventures with Scentsy began at the California State Fair in Sacramento. I was going through the vendors, to find the "latest and greatest" inventions to take home! As we were walking through the hall I see this vendor and her banner said "Scentsy" so I motioned to my friend that I was "going in", scents or anything to do with scents always grabs my attention. I spoke with two ladies who told me everything there is to know about Scentsy and the product, needless to say I walked away with the "Perfect Scentsy".Almost a year later I needed more product, so I contacted that same consultant from the fair and scheduled a party (oh did I mention it was on December 22nd?) it was very last minute, but the consultant came through for me and 10 of my friends! All of my friends walked away with a purchase of some kind and I thought "how in the world are we going to get product" the consultant who came to do my party lives 2 1/2 hours away. So this is where the real journey began... I became a Scentsy consultant Jan. 2 2009.I became a director on New Years Eve 2011! I have been with Scentsy for almost 11 years!! I am a full time insurance adjuster and although I am single, I have managed to make Scentsy a fun second job, that is exciting and easy to do! I actually enjoy coming home at the end of my day and working with Scentsy!
I have a great team of women who range from college students, full time mothers to full time carrer women. They have made it very easy to enjoy myself while earning a second income!
Scentsy is a fantastic company - They truly live by Orville and Heidi Thompsons moto - "GIVE MORE THAN YOU TAKE'. I have definitely tried to run my business the same way, with our core values ~ Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity! I think that is a major reason why I have been so successful and always have such a great time having parties!
I look forward to speaking with anyone who is interested in Scentsy, whether it is to host a home,catalog party or to join the Scentsy family! I am SUPER excited for the years to come and the wonderful things Scentsy will bring!
